Our Kitesurfing school offers lessons and classes for beginners, intermediate, and more experienced kite surfers. With our various packages for all ages (starting from 12 years old), you’ll get everything you need for a flawless kiteboarding experience. In addition, we have instructors who speak more than three languages fluently: English, Italian and Arabic, as well as other foreign languages. In other words, you won’t encounter any problems communication during your lessons.
We’re also proud that all our instructors are IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and VDWS (Verband Deutscher Wasserport Schulen) certified. With years of experience, we are constantly updating our skills as we meet and train more people from all walks of life.
We have a large selection of kite surfing equipment available for rental, and a full set can be rented the same day if needed. Your safety is our top main priority. It is our responsibility to verify your qualification before renting our equipment. Thus, you must already have completed a kite surfing course with us or another kite surfing school to be eligible to rent kiteboard equipment in Zanzibar.
As a prerequisite, you will need to be able to ride upwind independently. Our coaches will also conduct a brief assessment to ensure you can use the equipment comfortably.
At our kitesurfing school in Zanzibar we have every type of kite and board available. Variations from freeride, to freestyle, light wind kites, Hydrofoil boards and surfing kites ranging between 17m2 to 6 m2. You can also choose from different kite boards models and sizes — . The lineup includes twin tips freeride and freestyle of different sizes. The interesting part is you get to choose your gear based on the wind conditions and our staff will be always there to assist choose the right gear.
